The Philadelphia chapter of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society (AAHGS) is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. We would like to thank members past and present for being part of this journey. Those of us who work on our family histories have a keen bond. Bringing our family histories together gives us a chance to answer the call of our ancestors to not forget. No matter what our motivation has instilled in us, our ancestors are keeping watch. For us to be here celebrating, we are standing on the shoulders of those who persevered and made it possible to continue their legacies. The Philadelphia chapter of AAHGS, Family Quest Society, is proud to serve its members in their ongoing efforts to connect with their ancestors.
